We are seeking general practitioners who can provide GP and emergency services in Campbell Town, in Tasmania’s midlands. A $25,000 relocation incentive is on offer, along with accommodation and car.

The Position

I am seeking a MRCGP (UK), MICGP or FRNZGP who would like to make a move to an incredibly charming Tasmanian town.

The practice is located alongside Campbell Town’s Community Health Centre and the hospital. It offers a range of health services including general family medical care, women’s health, men’s health, occupational medicine, travel advice and vaccinations, antenatal checks, childhood vaccinations, and workers’ compensation.

The hospital has capacity for 6 acute care beds and 20 residential aged care residents and also facilitates broader community care including home visits to the surrounding area.

Campbell Town is one of Tasmania’s most historic towns, boasting a legacy of broad streets, well established European trees, and stately colonial architecture. In modern times, Campbell Town is a bustling hub at the centre of a thriving agricultural region. Applicant Requirements

This position is available for AHPRA Expedited pathway applicants (see below) or FACRRM/FRACGP applicants with general practice and current emergency experience.

UK GPs must hold: MRCGP & CCT (under any RCGP curriculum from 2007)

Irish GPs must hold: MICGP CSCST (from 2009)

NZ GPs must hold: FRNZCGP (from 2012 onwards) & satisfactory completion of GPEP
